Dr. B.Chakradhar Reddy’s potential as a medical expert first surfaced when he secured a rank in the top 500 in Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), which is undoubtedly an extremely competitive and popular exam in all over India. It came with its unique perks – a chance to study in the best colleges. Dr. B.Chakradhar Reddy takes pride in graduating from Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati. He completed his MBBS course in 1998.From the same college, he took up the course of Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics and most-deservingly, secured the 16th rank in the state when he passed the course in 2002.
After obtaining this degree, tried his hands on practical experience – medical consultation and surgery. His journey towards becoming one of the best Orthopaedic Surgeon in Hyderabad,India began at Madras Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Chennai, where he worked for a few months. Even in his early days as a medical practitioner, he was praised by the senior surgeons and got positive feedback from his patients. However, he had bigger plans, but before executing them, he came back to his native state, Andhra Pradesh, where he worked for a couple of months at Uday Clinic, Nampally. After that, he ventured out to foreign lands to gain more knowledge and experience in the field which he is most passionate about – orthopaedics.

After his higher studies in Scotland in 2006, he had the opportunity of taking some additional training in the UK. Dr. Reddy is not the kind of person who believes in luck, but he is the kind of person who believes in seizing every opportunity he gets to better himself. He went through some hard and rigorous training sessions in Edinburgh and Glasgow, UK.He has cleared the prestigious Membership of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (MRCS) and Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS).
His academic credit does not end here. He even went forward to pursue post-FRCS shoulder fellowship at Kirkcaldy under the supervision of world-renowned doctors, Dr. Sunil Sharma and Dr. Robert D. Cook. He trained his skilful hands under the guidance of Dr. Richard Pickard and Dr Andrew clarification require as a Joint Replacement Fellow and in Shoulder Replacment fellowship in Golden Jubilee National Hospital, near Glasgow, Scotland.
During his time abroad, he built a strong positive impression on various institutes. He built trust and confidence with his associates there. His charming personality and his wonderful managing skills and, of course, outstanding expertise as an orthopaedic surgeon, earned him many honourable positions. He grew in ranks as an SHO and Registrar in institutes of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Dr. Vinatha is an OBGYN Consultant at Stork Home, Banjara Hills with a sub-specialization in Urogynaecology. She also completed a course in advanced labor ward practice in the UK. She had a 18-year stint as an obstetrician and gynecologist in the UK and completed her specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology. She is one of the few doctors who worked as a consultant in the UK.
If Dr. Chakradhar has scaled the peaks of success and is continuing to do so, there is solid support that backs him. This, of course, is drawn from his family. The story of his life is fascinating, too.
He was born in a small village of Andhra Pradesh, called, Battepadu. He spent his early years of life as a common villager – watching the seasons change and going to the local school with the fellow village children. But, thanks to his father’s perseverance, his life was not going to be like most others! His father was a teacher as well and he knew it very well how to guide his son to dream big and work on the way of achieving it. He was very observant and an active advisor to Dr. Reddy when it came to academic issues.
Dr. Reddy himself was an eager learner and it did not go unnoticed by his teachers in school. They guided him to do even better. And Dr. Reddy being the spirited student that he was, imbibed every bit of wisdom he could gather. For him, academics was no less fun than sports and games. Unsurprisingly, he secured the first place in district level at the 8th class residential exam in Korukonda. Later, he stood the 3rd in the state in APRTC. He also secured a place in Nagarjuna Sagar Residential School. But, for some unfortunate personal issues, he had to move to Nellore and had to give up on this amazing opportunity.
However, like they say, opportunities show up to those who are worthy of it. Later, he went on to become a great surgeon from the best colleges and universities in India and abroad.
He was a pro in not only academics, he is a pro in sports as well. He has a passion of playing shuttle badminton. He used to play at an interschool level when he was young and then upgraded his position by playing for the country as well. He played at interhospital squads in the UK.
He takes special interest in philosophy as well. He finds it fascinating how believes and sciences intertwin. He thinks that to understand modern science, he must first acquaint himself with the ancient study of sciences and logical reasoning. Philosophy also helps him to explore his spirituality; to relate himself to the powers bigger and smaller than him.
He is married to Dr. Vinatha Puli, who is a renowned Gynaecologist herself. Just like Dr. B Chakradhar Reddy (Orthopedic Surgeon in Hyderabad), Dr. Vinatha Puli also got her training at Ninewells Hospital, of University of Dundee, Scotland. She is a Senior Consultant at Fernandez Hospital and also heads the Gynaecology department of the entire hospital.
The couple has two wonderful daughters – Lasya(11) and Laya(7).
After 9.5 years of experience as a surgeon and a locum consultant abroad, equipped with the best and most modern medical technologies and advancements, Dr. B.Chakradhar Reddy returned to India in April 2014. Now, he is where he always belonged. He currently is a consultant in Global Hospitals, Lakdikapul.
Dr. Reddy has a reputation for being empathetic. His patients don’t shy away from telling how wonderful treatment they get from his service. What makes his treatment better than his competitors is that he explains the issue to the patient in a way that they can understand both the severity and the treatment clearly. A clear mind always has a positive attitude towards the doctor and his work, which, undoubtedly, contributes in yielding a better result at the end.
